Keep up with us...

Although we are a non-competitive dance school, we are passionate about providing our students with a wide range of performance opportunities throughout their time with us. From our main production held every two years, to local cabarets, dance conventions, and festive events like Christmas light switch-ons, every dancer is given the chance to step into the spotlight and shine.

TESTIMONIALS

STRAIGHT FROM THE STAGE

My daughter has attended the Sutton School of Performing Arts since the age of 2. Now 9, she has blossomed year upon year in her confidence and dancing. She has built massive friendships with her Sutton family. She’s at her happiest when she is dancing! Thank you to all of the staff and students for making this such a great one!

STUDENT'S PARENT

I first started my Sutton school journey at the age of 3. I stayed at Suttons until I left to study professionally at the age of 16. I now work as a professional singer and teacher and if I hadn’t had my training I wouldn’t be where I am today thanks to Miss Sarah. I also have many happy memories of my time at Suttons (some of the best of my childhood). My daughter and son now attend Suttons and I love that we are still part of the school and  that it’s not just somewhere to dance but you feel part of a family. I would highly recommend Suttons school to anyone wanting to go either for professional training or a hobby.

Natasha Harper

My daughter has been training with Sutton School for almost 7 years. In that time we have watched her flourish from a shy little girl to a performer, achieving her goals with the amazing teaching and support she receives. This is somewhere my daughter is happy and can truly be herself-she loves it here and it feels like a second home.

ENCOURAGING STUDENTS OF ALL AGES AND ABILITIES

Sutton School of Performing Arts was formed in 1989 based on a love of the Performing Arts. With its feet very much founded in dance and performance, the business has developed excellent levels of training and nurturing for students. When Sarah Sutton first started the business, her love of ballet, tap and modern was the sound basis of the school and her own success runs deep in the business. Sarah is a fully qualified R.A.D (Royal Academy of Dance) teacher and also I.S.T.D ( Imperial Society Teachers of Dance) teacher. She has worked professionally on cruise ships and has featured as a lead dancer in a number of high profile roles on television.

The school is focused on delivering outstanding results within a friendly, supportive and enjoyable environment, bringing out the best in all students. If you are looking for a starting point for your child in any of our dance or musical theatre classes, please contact us for a one week free trial. There is no obligation to join but we are sure you will be impressed with us and how we can increase your love of the performing arts.
